Going back to camera/color profiles, I simply said that they are fully supported in LR in response to you saying that "C1 puts much more emphasis on color profiles." Camera/color profiles in LR are as supported as they can be. You will then get the look of C1 every time you import your images. Once that is done then the settings, that could include a specific camera/color profile, but doesn’t have to, can be made into an import preset.
Of course you can have a camera/color profiles, along with all other kinds of adjustments, incorporated into an import preset, but I was simply addressing the fact that what you see in C1 can easily be created in LR. I was addressing you saying "there is a look to the images (in C1) that I just was not able to achieve before." I wasn’t addressing profiles at that point. I said you can get the same results in LR and save them as an import preset. (but it lacks the instant (yet slow) feedback (and repositioning of location, angle & level) that in-camera processing offers) (of course, this is also why it should exist as post-processing, being fed with a '4D' set of images (lateral depth by a bracket for HDR, radial depth by a bracket for panorama)) (the Panasonic is a bit too sensitive, sadly, often ends too early, even with simple subjects, no foreground/background shift-triggers)
